While the IKIA Airport ranked third in terms of total passenger traffic among all airports in Iran, it is the most strategic one due to matters of international policy and commerce. This immense Airport situated 30 kilometers away from Tehran which occupies over 33,000 acres of land. There are two separate special lounges named C.I.P and V.I.P terminals that we had designed and fabricated their false ceiling and facades.

IKIA Airport
V.I.P “very important person”

In V.I.P Hall’s ceiling, satin-like acrylic straps suspended from the ceiling as a series of linear louvers by a kind of peerless steel hanging bar and then lit by florescent tubes. With regard to the necessity of horizontal elements of all stripes, we came up with an innovative fitting that allows us to adjust louvers in all directions before fixing them. All parts easily removable to let the maintenance stuff to dust them off or replace them.

C.I.P Lounge
“commercial important person”

The CIP lounge is dedicated to premium passengers. Upon arrival, you will see an exotic staircase that connects two official sectors together in different height levels.

Laminated Glass Panels

In CIP’s facade, due to the gravity and dimension of laminated glass panels, it seemed impossible to put them in a minus 30 degree vertically. Not only was it money-consuming activity but also the installation phase might be really hazardous in terms of labours’ safety. We offered our client to use ultra clear acrylic sheet instead of glass.The result was deeply satisfying in many ways, ultimate clarity, safety, good-looking appearance and budget saving.
